On Thursday Mum and I headed to Bendigo to see the Grace Kelly exhibition. We had been wanting to go since it opened but every time we planned it, I had work or mum had something on. Thursday was finally the day. Leaving at 8am meant the traffic wasn't as busy and we had a really good run to Bendigo.
At the moment Bendigo has Grace Kelly fever! There are lots of shops that have windows dedicated to the exhibition and there are people everywhere! We were lucky enough to get a table at my favourite little Italian restaurant that is opposite the gallery. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. They asked if we had tickets to see Grace Kelly and got our lunch to us with lots of time to enjoy it without being rushed.
The exhibition itself was amazing! There were photos of Grace around the perimeter of the exhibition and in the middle were the actual dresses she was wearing. Some of them were just exquisite.
After seeing the exhibition we headed to the shops for a bit of retail therapy. Once I again I went to Orangise My and bought something. Mum was bought some lovely clothes.
On the way home we stopped off at Harcourt. The apple shop has recently reopened after being closed due to it being bypassed. The apples we bought were so yummy!
