On Saturday we had a family get together at this gorgeous house Tullaree. Tullaree belongs to my mum's cousin Janet and her husband Tim. The house and property have been in Tim's family for quite a long time. Tullaree has a lot of history associated with it. You can read more about it here.
It was the home of Margaret and Jeannie Clemments. Jeannie unfortunately died at the homestead and Margaret mysteriously disappeared. There is a book about this story - The Lady of the Swamp.
It was great to finally visit the homestead that I have read so much about.
