I like spending. It is no mistake. But I also figure that I work hard for my pay so I can spend my money. Since the separation I am learning to take control of my money and I have been spending a lot more carefully than what I would have in the past.
The picture above is a photo of a million rupiah. It roughly works out to be $100 AUD. It is more than a months pay for many Indonesians. My trip to Indonesia gave me a different perspective on money and helped me realise that I am one very lucky person.
