Garage Sale Saturday

In Warragul there were three garage sales that I wanted to go to today. One was not very far from here along a road I like to ride my bike on. The second was at the sorting centre for one of the local op-shops and the third was at one of the local secondary schools. At the first one I bought the top suitcase and the novel. At the second one I bought the bottom suitcase and at the third I bought the cook book for mum.
The suitcases varied in condition and price. The bigger one was cheaper and in better condition than the smaller one. But I really liked the pattern on the smaller one.

shoes

Some of the favourite things I have found at garage sales have been my glass cheese board and dome, all of my vintage suitcases, and the books I have bought to read. Most weekends I try to go to a garage sale. Sometimes I don't look in the paper, I just happen to see them when driving past somewhere. The ones that I really like to go to are deceased estate sales. There is always lots of vintage things at those.
